Williamson andMr. Pat Calhoun fought a duel Mathpistols Saturday night at thirty-fiveminutes past seven oclock on the Romeand Decatur Railroad somewhere nearthe state line, probably in Alabama. The weapons used were the im^proved Smith & Wesson hammerlesspistols. Capt. Henry Jackson acted as second, and Mr. Jack King,of Rome, as Capt. Williamsons sec-ond. Neither principal was hurt.
