Although the team struck some of the bestteams in this section of the country, only one displayed a brand of ball that wasequal to that shown by the Tiger five. That team was Purdues, undoubtedlythe best organization in the conference, that won two heart-breaking victoriesfrom the Bussmen each time by a one-point margin.
