Differing from corpiuentus in its larger size, in the linear 2nd joint of peraeopod 4, the almost smooth hind margin of 2nd joint of peraeopod 5, and the slender evenly tapering 6th joint of gnathopod 2. From ingens it differs in not showing any sign of the degeneration of the palp of maxilla 1 or the palp of the maxilliped, or shortening of the mandibles, being in these respects quite like corpulentus. Remarks.
