The desk, with flat molded corniced topand paneled and carved frieze, is flanked by two caryatid femalefigures ending in scrolled cartouche and festooned drapery,and has a paneled and richly carved front. The kneeling plat-form is molded and the plinth is carved with acanthus-leafscrollings. Height, 2 feet 9 inches; width, 2 feet 5^4 inches; depth, 2 feet31/o inches.
