In the middle, twelve men each lift a stone of the bottom of the Jordaan. Behind it the Israelites cross the Jordaan River. Behind them the water of the Jordaan forms a dam. At the bottom a reference to JZ. 3: 14-17 and the title of the print in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French and Dutch.
