A considerable portion of the progressmade has been due to the valuable aid and encouragement extended bythe Commanding General, Ninth Corps Area, and the officers and non-commissioned officers of the Regular Army detailed as instructors withvarious organizations. Our relations with the Militia Bureau and other agencies and indi-viduals of the War Department continue most amiable. On the whole the National Guard of this state is in a very satisfactorycondition, ranking high in organization, equipment, training andefficiency with that of other states. Morale and esprit de corps neverwere better. A real affection for National Guard service and National REPORT Of THE ADJUTANT GENERAL. REPORT OF THE ADJUTANT GENERAL Guard traditions exists in the minds of a great majority of the membersof our organizations, manifested through their continued service.
