All of them are easy to grow and those which flower during the early spring are particularly wel- come. Though they are small they are truly beautiful. Take for example Iris reticu- lata which greets us soon after the last of the snow has melted. Scillas and Grape Hyacinths continue the procession with Anemone, Calochortus, Camasiia, Erythro- nium, Leucojum, Ranunculus and the Dutch and EngLsh Iris a succes- sion that leads up to the summer-flowering plants. For blooming this fall plant Colchicum just as soon as possible.
