Easter bonnet. First foray into the outdoors for one of fifty newly-hatched chicks at West Lodge Farm Park at Desborough, Northamptonshire. All 50 are females who will be one week old on Easter Sunday and destined to be sold at 12 weeks old as pets for £16 each. They will lay eggs for their new owners from 21 weeks old. The farm is open to the public throughout Easter and over 3,000 people are expected to visit over the three days to meet the spring new arrivals and take part in Easter egg hunts.
