100223-N-PO203-080 BOGUE FIELD, (Feb. 23, 2010)Michael Wilson, , Head of the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Systems and Processing Section at the Naval Research Laboratory, explains to Atlantic Beach, , councilwoman, Trish Ide, and Chief of Police, Allen Smith, the capabilities of the Office of Naval Research funded EyePod, an intelligent geo-aware day/night imaging sensor system during the Developmental Test (DT) - 02 for the Operational Adaptation Integrated Technology Demonstration (ITD-1) being held at Bogue Field, Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field, in Carteret County, North Carolina. Relying on the support offered by the North Carolina, state, county, and local municipalities, DT-02 is the second event in a series intended to pull together various sensor technologies, including air, surface, and subsurface, militarily relevant information, which through a common information space can be easily interpreted by warfighters in a operations center.
