Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, tlie 2nd joint reaching vertex of liead and moderately .scaled, the 3i-d oblique; frons smootli ; eyes large, round ; antennaj of male minutely cihated ; head and thorax clothed chiefly with scales, the pro- and metathorax v^^ith divided crests, tibia; moderately fringed with hair ; abdomen with dorsal crests on basal segments. Fore wing rather narrow, the apex rounded, the tennen slightly crenulate ; vein 3 from close to angle of cell; .5almost straight from just below middle of discoceUulars ; 0 from upper ; 9, 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell.
