He is a member of anumber of organizations and has alwavs been very active. He is essentiallya self-made man, having had no financial advantages during his early life. John Kent Sanders, A. M., was born in 1858, son of the well knownProf. John C. Sanders of Cleveland. His early school life was in the pub-lic schools of Cleveland, later at Whipple Academy, Jacksonville, 111., there-after entering Jacksonville College, from which he received the degree firstof A. B., and later A. M. He graduated from the Cleveland Homoeopathic Medical College in entered practice with his father in Cleveland. Later he went abroad,. [ohn B. Woodworth, M. D. spending considerable time in study, specializing in surgical work. He waselected professor of surgery in the Cleveland Homoeopathic Medical College,retaining it during his stay in that city. Since 1898 Dr. Sanders has beenabroad, following a line of professional studies. B. F. Gamber was born in 1844, receiving his schooling in the publicschools and later in the First Pennsylvania Normal School, graduating in1865. For eight years he was principal of the public schools of AlleghenyCity, Pennsylvania, but took up the study of medicine, and in 1877 graduatedfrom the Cleveland Homoeopathic Medical College.
