Hind wing whitish suffused with fuscous brown except basal and inner areas, the inner area tinged with ochreous and the fringe with rufous; the termeu whitish with obscure series of subterminal brown lunules ; the extremity of veins reddish ; a terminal series of slight blackish lunules ; cilia white; the underside white, the costal area irrorated with rufous, a faint discoidal spot and postmedial line from costa to vein 5, a diffused fuscous subterminal band and terminal series of small blackish lunules from costa to vein 2. 2. Fore wing rather more suffused with brown and the markiugs more distinct; hind wing suffused with fuscous except basal area. Bab. Palpi of male with the basal joint normal, the 2nd joint shorter than in section A and fringed in front with rather downturned hair, with tufts of long hair at exti-emity and on 3rd joint on inner side only, a tuft of hair from below base of palpi; antennje with the basal joint dilated and tufted with hair behind, the shaft distorted just before middle ; fore tibiaj and tarsi normal; abdomen with lateral tufts of reddish hair from base and large fan-shaped dorsal crest at base ; hind wing with fringe of long hair and scales on inner margin. 3096.
