CAIWU celebrated International Workers' Day with an open-topped bus tour stopping to protest outside some of London's most notorious employers where CAIWU is in dispute over a living wage, conditions of service and bullying management. CAIWU celebrated International Workers' Day with an open-topped bus tour stopping to protest outside some of London's most notorious employers where CAIWU is in dispute over a living wage, conditions of service and bullying management. The bus stopped close to the Royal Opera House and CAIWU members held a short and noisy protest outside, ending by warning that they would keep on coming back until they got a satisfactory settlement for the cleaners.
