The city of Coronado, Calif., honored 17 heroes during their 4th biannual Hometown Hero Banner event at the Coronado Clubroom, Nov. 5. The Hometown Hero Banner Program was started in order to honor service members who served gallantly in the past by displaying banners on the Avenue of Heroes.
