Africa Command conducted a change of command ceremony in Stuttgart, Germany, on Aug. 9, 2022. The ceremony, held for Army Gen. Stephen Townsend to transfer command to Marine Gen. Michael Langley, was attended by nearly 400 guests including international, partner-nation, and interagency dignitaries and leaders.
