Modernization and redesign of approx. 60 rooms, led by Prof. dr. FA. Eschaauzier and Bart castle, in which a number of rooms were created in the western and eastern courtyards. The halls in the western wing, both on the ground floor and on the first floor, a total of 35 rooms, were intended for the collections of the sculpture / crafts department. In 1952, the modernized halls of this department were put into use.
