Curls of cinnamon bark forming cinnamon sticks used to flavour foods. Most cinammon is harvested from Cinnamomum vera, also known as Cinnamomum zeylanicum. The warm flavour is used in both sweet and savoury dishes and is also used in herbal medicine, perfumes and toiletries.
