Negative - Ballarat District, Victoria, pre 1940, A group of people inspecting the wreckage of RAAF biplane A5-4 which crashed on Mt Buninyong, on 12 Dec 1939. There appears to be a heavy fog. The aircraft has landed facing down a steep slope with the right (port) side wing shattered against to tree trunks. The aircraft was a Westland Wapiti delivered to the Royal Australian Airforce on 29 March 1929.
