Bratislava, Slovakia. Statue of Schone Naci. This statue represents a real person who was an icon in Bratislava. His real name was Ignac Lamar and he lived in the years 1897-1967. He became famous by walking in the city-center while wearing a velvet top hat and tails and greeting everyone. It is said that he received free cake from local coffee shop. He was most probably mentally challenged, but was very popular amongst the residents of Bratislava who called him "Schone Naci". He died of tuberculosis in 1967 with no living relatives to arrange the funeral.
