In the back the same condition existed down as far as thesixth vertebral spine on both sides. There were many rales on quietbreathing especially on the left side and posteriorly on the left sidewere heard a few pleuritic rubs. The sputum was positive and thealbumen test the usual moderate. Urine and blood examinations werenegative. The blood pressure on fourteen readings averaged, systolic 122mm., diastolic 57 mm. His temperature range was from F. to 97 F.,his pulse range from 128 to 76, and his respirations 28 to 20 a minute.
