1899. A signed portrait photograph of General Sir Henry Macleod Leslie Rundle, GCB, GCMG, GCVO, DSO (1856 – 1934), dated 1899. Leslie Rundle was commissioned into the Royal Artillery in 1876 and had distinguished military career. He was a veteran of the Zulu War (1879), the First Boer War (1881), the Anglo-Egyptian War (1882), the Nile expedition (1884-85), the Sudan Frontier Field Force (1885-87), the Khartoum Expedition (1898), the Second Boer War (1899-1902) and the First World War (1914-18).
