Cittadella is a medieval town in Veneto. It was founded in 1220. Cittadella town walls are a rare example of a medieval defensive system. The parapet walkway is perfectly preserved and is one of the most beautiful in Europe. The walls are 15 meters hig with 30-meter hig keep towers:
