Chateau de Fougeres-sur-Bievre, Loire Valley, France, inner courtyard


Originally built in 1030, the castle was destroyed by the English in 1429 and then rebuilt in 1470. It was subsequently altered in 1510 to 1520. It is a classic medieval small fortified castle.
