Carpenter, of the Caisson Platoon, 1st Battalion, 3rd United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), conducts his final ride as a member of the Caisson Platoon on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., Aug. 18, 2015. Carpenter completed 139 rides since joining the platoon in December 2014.
