Génolhac station is a small station in the Gard departement of France. It runs a local service to Alès, Langogne and Mende using railcars but there is a daily main line service that runs from Paris to Marseilles via Clermont Ferrand and return. For the majority of its length to Alès in the south and Langogne in the north, the line is single track. As the line crosses the Cèvennes the line passes through many tunnels and cuttings. The line is very picturesque and popular with tourists.
