Blakemere Moss a 36 hectare area of the 950 hectare mixed deciduous and evergreen Delamere forest in Cheshire which was rewetted in 1997 An area rich in biodiversity it is now designated as a site of special scientific interest and popular with birdwatchers The forest is close to Chester and a popular area for cycling walking birdwatching and treetop activities It is the largest wooded area in Cheshire and lies within the Mersey Forest boundary
