Is as hardy as oak and a profuse bloomer; grows 6 feet high. Too much cannot be said in favor of this plant. Had a bush on our grounds three year8old,in bloom last fall, and there were on it over 300 great trusses of flowers. It is by all means the best hardy shrub we know of, and we cheerfully recommend it. Splendid for cemetery. As shown in the engraving, the plant is of com- 1 pact and sturdy habit, and when laden with its great massesof bloom isexceedingly striking and attractive. This noble shrub is seen gracing alike with its superb presence _ , ^ ^.._ the cottage foreyard, large lawns, extensive grounds, parks, etc., and is specially desirable wheia grown as single specimen plants, as shown in our illustration. A universal favorite. Stands 60 degrees below zero. Price according to size. Each, 36c.; 3d size, COc; 3d size, 76c.; 4th size, » 49"0neeach above, Hydrangea, Snowball and Deutzia, 60c.*^ Bleeding Heart. An old-fashioned flower, but one that deserves a piace everywhere. Indeed, no garden should be without this beautiful and hardy plant. Of it, it can be truly said, A thing of beauty is a joy for* ever,*' for no infant is more satisfactory, more liberal and free in bloom than this. It will stand the coldest winters and flourish, and a single plant will bear from 100 to 600 long spikes of heart* shaped, drooping, light blood-red flowers, hence the name bleeding Heart. There is a difference in the growth and flower
