An infantry officer's sword, Bavarian model A straight, single-edged reinforced blade of watered steel with yelmen. Etched with "In Treue fest" (Firm in loyalty), on both sides of the blade, with " Gwinner Tandern 1895" below it on the obverse side. Gold-plated brass hilt with a folding guard plate.
