Paul Manga, a subsistence farmer, slashes his withered maize crop that he will repurpose as animal feed following a dry season in some regions of the country. Weather situation is expected to change drastically after Kenya Meteorological Department warned of an impending El-nino in the last quarter of the year. This announcement came when Kenya is convening an Africa Climate Summit to be held in Nairobi on 4th to 6th September to discuss the impacts and solutions to the effects of climate change.
