Statue of Artemis. Roman copy after a Greek original from the 4th century BC known as the Dresden Artemis on display in the Glyptothek Museum in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The statue was restored by Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen in the beginning of the 19th century as Ceres, the Roman goddess of fertility.
