2018 £2 coin issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War Armistice

This £2 coin was issued in the United Kingdom by the Royal Mint, to commemorate the 100th anniversary, since the First World War Armistice. The reverse features a quote from Owen’s poem Strange Meeting – “the truth untold, the pity of war” and was designed by Stephen Raw. The obverse featuring the 5th coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was designed by Jody Clark.
