La Sal Mountains, south of Moab, Utah, are part of Manti-La Sal National Forest. With heights of nearly 13,000 feet, the alpine LaSal Mountains are an outdoor recreational and tourist attraction, close to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and Dead Horse Point State Park.
