This species seems nearest to C. dilecta, Smith, but is distinguished from that and other members of the genus by more numerous ribs bearing Pig. 50. closer packed grains. The specific name is in compliment to Mr. G. Sweet, the finder, who was a member of the second expedition to Funafuti. The side view is drawn to a smaller scale than the other sketches.
