Walker descending the path from Meall Dhamh (806m) before ascending the steep shoulder of Cruach Ardrain to the summit (1046m). Cruach Ardrain is one of the familiar mountains which surround the village of Crianlarich in central Scotland. It's name means stack of the high part. The usual route starts from the A82 near Crianlarich by crossing a bridge over the West Highland Railway before starting the ascent through the forests of the lower section.
