Summer sunrise on Myrtle Beach in South Carolina

I captured this image early on a summer morning as I was taking a walk along the shore in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Just after sunrise the beach was pretty quiet with very few people around which is quite the contrast to what it becomes later in the day during the tourist season. Myrtle Beach is a very popular resort/tourist location located on the “Grand Strand,” an arc of beach front that stretches some 60 miles along the South Carolina coast.
