On the top, within a central medallion of beadedoutline, the favorite decoration of mythical sea-animals moldedin bold relief among grapes and vines, the medallion surroundedb^ a band of various birds and flying insects also amid grapes,and within the rim a narrow conventional border of detachedfloral forms. Diameter, 6 107—Heavy Circular Bronze Mirror {Hiui) Convex, with beveled rim, the upper surface sloping downwardfrom a sharp edge to a large depressed medallion with elaborateornamentation.
