Regency lady in evening dress, 1814. She wears her hair in ringlets, strings of pearls, red dress with lace sleeves and decoration, and carries a white shawl. Handcoloured lithograph from Thomas Hailes Lacy's Female Costumes Historical, National and Dramatic in 200 Plates, London, 1865. Lacy (1809-1873) was a British actor, playwright, theatrical manager and publisher.
