An addi-tional 9,000-kw, 25-cycle generator will be addedwithin a year. The Newark station, which consistsof two separate plants operated as a single station,contains a total of 14,800 kw of direct-currentand 25-cycle alternating current generators. The60-cycle light and power equipment of this sta-tion has a total capacity of 9450 kw. ThePaterson station contains 2800 kw of direct-currentgenerators for railway purposes and 7
