Letter from John Knox to Sir Nicholas Throgmorton, 6th August 1561. Letter from Edinburgh by Knox to Throgmorton, English ambassador at Paris, thanking him for is efforts to preserve him against the practises of Sathan, and saying that he has written a few words to the Queen (Elizabeth I) and more fully to the Secretary (Sir William Cecil).
