Double 10 Day is a national holiday in Taiwan. Pictured are girls from Taipei First Girl's High School as they begin the parade procession. Although this holiday is a national holiday in Taiwan it is not directly related to Taiwan. It commemorates the 1911 Wuchang Uprising in China which was the end of the Chinese dynasties adn the birth of the Republic Of China.
