SPECIFICATION STAND FOR MICRO SLIDE BOXES For tilting a half-gross box of Micro Slides so that the Slides can be removed singly without touching the flat surfaces. 7053. MICRO SLIDE BOX STAND, Co. Specification. For tilting a half-gross box of 3 x 1-inch, Co. Specification, Red Label Micro Slides (as described on page 889 of our general catalogue) on end so that the slides can be removed singly, as required, without touching the flat surfaces. The inclined position of the stack of slides in the stand greatly simplifies handling in routine use. Boxes for Co. Red Label 3 x 1-inch slides have recently been re-designed so that the upper edges of the slides extend approximately 2/g-inch above the carton sides to permit ready removal by grasping the ends. Stand is made of sheet aluminum, approximately 65 mm wide, and fits snugly over the ends of the carton and is shaped to provide a stable base, 75 mm deep, with a V-shaped pencil rest in convenient position. Box lid can be replaced, for protecting the slides from dust, without removal of the box from the stand, by taking the complete assembly in one hand and, with the other hand, fitting the upper end of the lid first and then gently depressing the pencil rest as the lid is seated. 7053. Stand for Micro Slide Box, Co. Specification, as above described, of aluminum with etched finish 70 10% discount in lots of 12. NOTE--Stand can be used with almost any Slide carton which is approximately 4 inches Jong.
