Coba, Mexico - Circa 2010. Coba is an ancient Mayan city on the Yucatán Peninsula, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. Nohuch Mul, which means “large mound” in the Mayan language, is the tallest pyramid at Coba archaeological site and in the Yucatán Peninsula.
