Radegast (or Radigost, Radhost, Radhost, Redigast, Radgost) is a hypothetical West Slavic god of hospitality, fertility and harvest associated with war and the Sun. Only one historical source is known, saying that the deity of this name actually worshiped the pagan Slavs, and that its disputes are correct. While the name itself is documented in several historical descriptions of the Slavic religion, it is not possible to clearly decide whether it really relates to the deity or rather to the city of the pagan Slavs of Retre, where the sanctuary of the Svarozice God was.
