Recruits from Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, move as a fire team through a training event during the Crucible at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 27. Recruits had to work as a team during the 54-hour event to accomplish every task given to them by their instructors. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate July 13.
