A pair of Dutch flintlock pistols,circa 1690. Two-stage barrels,octagonal breech section,then round after cut girdles,with smooth bore in mm calibre. The flintlocks engraved and sparsely embellished with chiselled animal and floral motifs,parts of the lock mechanism supplemented. Walnut full stocks with iron furniture,decorated en suite. Wooden ramrods with bone tips. Some parts have professionally been restored and replaced.
