Tokyo, Japan - 12 November 1996 The Meiji Shrine is located in the Shibuya District of Tokyo, Japan. This Shinto shrine is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shoken. It is a popular place for weddings, days out, sashaying around and dressing up in central Tokyo, especially on Sundays. Here we see a traditional wedding ceremony and procession, led by a Shinto priest.
