Kilmogue Megalithic Tomb, Harristown, County Kilkenny, Ireland

Harristown or Kilmogue Dolmen is also known locally as 'Leac an Scail', which means ‘Stone of the Warrior’. The entrance faces NE and has an enormous door-stone almost 3 metres high; the portal stones are around metres high and the capstone with an estimated weight of 103 metric ton, probably makes the heaviest in Europe. An incredible feat of early engineering.
