In March1755 he made a pastoral visitation from house to housethroughout the whole congregation of Jamaica, and metwith rough handling from the friends of Goetschius. OnApril 6th he celebrated the Lords Supper and admitted16 members. The divisions continuing in the congrega-tion caused Mr. Romeyn to leave. He preached his lastsermon November 30th 1760, from Ephesians vi. 24,Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christin sincerity. >.
