Union Jack shingle beach, England.

Shingle Street is probably the most isolated village in Suffolk. It is literally on the beach and has no shops, pub or church and only a few houses most of which are now hoilday dwellings. Shingle Street is situated between Bawdsey (the birthplace of radar) and Orford, another secret wartime establishment and it was here that one of the Second World War's greatest mysteries was said to have happened when large numbers of burnt bodies in German uniforms were washed up on the beach and removed in great secrecy.
