Niche in the rear wall of St Issui's Well (Ffynnon Ishow), Partrishow, Powys, with a lit taper and offerings. St Issui was a C6th Celtic Christian missionary who established his hermitage close to the sacred spring above the Nant Mair stream and was murdered by a man he had healed. Around 1060 a wealthy leper cured at the holy well donated a hatful of gold for the building of the present church on the hill above the well.
